Inventory Price Update Batch to Include Units of Measure items (when selecting to Update Only Existing Prices)

When you try to run a batch process to update item prices, the system encounters a problem specifically with items that have more than one unit of measure (UoM) configured in combination with:

• Multiple warehouses, and

• Multiple price lists

Affected version: 11.1.6.0

Steps to recreate:

(Scenario 1)

1. Create a new inventory item “TEST001” linked to the Mstr warehouse

2. Create a new price lista

3. Create 2 units of measure

4. Manually enter a unique price for each UOM for Price List 1 and the Mstr warehouse

5. Run a price update batch to Update Only Existing Prices

6. Enter a new price for each unit of measure, for Price List 1 for the Mstr warehouse

7. Note that the report which prints confirms that the prices have been updated correctly as shown in the New Excl Price and New Incl Price fields on the Price Update Batch

8. Navigate to Inventory | Maintenance | Inventory Items | Pricing for the test item TEST001. Note that the prices have been updated incorrectly as shown below:
