The Malawi Government will be implementing internet banking called Oracle Banking Digital Experience (OBDX) replacing Credit Ceiling Authority arrangement from July 2025, This follows the upgrading of the Core Banking System called Flexicube at the Reserve Bank of Malawi (RBM).
As a preparatory requirement, all stakeholders to OBDX (Local Authorities, State Owned Enterprises (SOEs) and Projects part 1 are required to prepare their Enterprise Accounting Systems to ensure
1. the ERP system is able to generate, encrypt and upload file formats for payment on the platform (Attached)
2. the official email system is functional (send and receive email correspondence)
