Welcome to the Sage 200 Evolution ideas Portal
Good Day,
It is such an inconvenience when it comes to formatting the email subject when emailing any document through Sage Evolution. Whether its an Invoice, Credit Note, Statement or any report, the only option is to add a default subject which does not change depending on the Document Number, Date, Customer Name, Document Type etc etc.
We have customers who have moved from Sage 50 to Sage 200 Evolution. This option was possible in Sage 50 as we were able to customize the subject using a query builder, therefore being able to add the Customer Name, Code, Document Type, Date, Time and so on. In Evolution this is not possible. No idea why this is the case on such an advanced and widely used ERP System !!
When leaving the subject empty, Evolution applies the default subject as a standard one as per below:
PRO1764(PR02)(Corporate Computing )(2024-04-03)
When setting the default subject, for Example Invoice from Corporate Computing, there is then no option to add the Invoice Number or document type atleast !!
Please consider it.
What is the workaround for the problem today?
There is no workaround solution, its either the standard as Evolution generates it PRO1764(PR02)(Corporate Computing )(2024-04-03) Or else a default subject which never changes depending on the customer or document type of Date. |
