Welcome to the Sage 200 Evolution ideas Portal
Detailed expected outcome:
-The client has about 1700 bin locations on a multiple bin locations warehouse
-There are lot items linked to the warehouse
-When creating a SO, they click on Qty to specify the Bin location, the Lot Number and the Qty to process on the Sales Order
-On the Sales Order, the agent selects the item, warehouse (multi bin Warehouse) and not select the bin location
-This is due to the agents not knowing the bin locations, so the Load Item Bin button help with populating all the Bin locations
-Agent can now populate the qty they need for the order and the lot number for the specific bin with positive qty
-The issue is all the bin locations are now populated on the screen
-When placing the order, all the Bin locations populated on the Qty selection screen print with 0 qty
-The only way around it is to delete all the bin location lines from the Qty selection screen and leave the one you are ordering qty from
-This makes sense as the _btblInvoiceLinedetails table is populated with these bin location lines
-This is unnecessary and cause a lot of confusion for the pickers
-The ideal would be for the system to only print the lines with Qty on the Picking slip
-The same goes for delivery note
Reason for Request:
-The client has been using Sage 200 Evolution for over 10 years
-The client has a huge number of Bin location with the activation of multiple bin location on warehouses
-This was recently activated
-The amount of admin behind specifying the bin location and lot numbers is time consuming
-The system should automatically disregard the Bin location lines without specified Qty
-Or the system should provide an option to only print Bin Locations with Qty specified
-This will improve user experience and minimize fraudulent activities with the picking slip
-The agent takes too much time deleting the additional bin location lines

What is the workaround for the problem today?
None at this point in time. The process is just admin intensive currently verifying items with QTY. |
