Bank Manager to fully integrate the information from Online Banking

1.Explain what the customer is trying to do (achieve).

The customer is trying to improve efficiency by eliminating manual capturing of information when the information was already captured on online banking and such information is also available from the bank ofs file. This is to streamline the Bank manager module and integrate the information from online banking fully.

2. Explain the current scenario or business process that has prompted the customer to raise this suggestion.

Currently when the user imports the online banking ofs file to Sage’s Bank Manager module, only part of the information pulls through to Sage. The column with the “Reference” is not pulled through to Sage i.e. not integrated, therefore this requires the user having to capture the “Reference” manually.

3. Describe how you see users benefiting from this feature.

Time saved by importing ALL the data available from ofs file instead of only partial data importing to Sage’s Bank manager application Reduces risk of manual input errors

4. By not having this feature what challenges you foresee.
