TLS Option not availbale when adding an account on the Evolution Service Setup
Evolution Service Setup | Emails Tab | Add
STEPS TO RECREATE:
Open the Evolution Service Setup from version 11 and higher
Under the Services tab, ensure all services are installed and running
Under Databases tab, locate the v11 database
Under options tab, setup the SMTP details (Tested with Gmail for oAuth)
Please note that the client is using Office 365
Under Emails tab, click on Add to add an email account (in the client's case, Office 365)
Notice that there is no option to select TLS on this screen under the email server tab
Only secured connection options are None and SSL
With Office 365 TLS is required as the Encryption method
Click on th Reply tab
Notice that TLS is available for selection under secure connection
Expected Outcome:
Can the TLS option for secure connection be added to the Email server tab on the Evolution Service Setup under Email tab | Add email account
Impact:
As a Business Partner, I am struggling to sell Contact Management/Resolve module due to techniculties relating to Office 365 emailing. This means as a business ,we are losing out on revenue.
What is the workaround for the problem today?
