Improvement Accounts Receivable VDC to include warehouse
AR VDC should be able to be set by warehouse so that different pricing can be charged to customers depending on which warehouse the item is dispatched from. Where warehouses are geographically spread, the freight cost for dispatching from one warehouse can differ significantly to another. Many large customers do not want a separate freight cost so this has to be built into the product cost. As such, different prices for inventory items need to be charged depending on which warehouse it is dispatched from.
What is the workaround for the problem today?
Staff processing orders must manually override the VDC price each time a different warehouse is used. This means having to have a separate price list outside of SAGE to refer to which results in errors - crediting and reinvoicing sales orders
