Welcome to the Sage 200 Evolution ideas Portal
To support modern enterprise device management, we require Sage 200 standard to be installable in an unattended manner. Our organisation uses Microsoft Intune to provision and manage Windows devices, where applications are deployed automatically in the background without user interaction. The current Sage 200 Evolution installer requires user prompts and does not support silent installation switches, which prevents automated deployment and forces IT teams to perform manual installations. This results in delays for new starters, increased support effort, higher operational costs, and additional security risk where users may require temporary administrative access. Providing a silent-capable installer (MSI or documented unattended EXE switches) would enable consistent, secure, and efficient deployment aligned with modern enterprise and security best practices.

What is the workaround for the problem today?
As the current Sage 200 standard installer does not support silent installation, fully automated deployment is not possible. Until a silent-capable installer is provided, the application must be installed manually by IT. |
