To comply with the new e-invoicing regulations in Jordan, your application must meet the legal requirements for e-invoices (similar to those in many Middle Eastern countries). If your application does not support the Jordanian e-invoice regulations, we will not be legally able to use it.
Thank you for raising the query around e-Invoicing and local compliance
As you may be aware, e-invoicing capabilities is currently being developed by Sage globally via the Sage Network, with France and the wider European region as the initial launch markets.
For Sage 200 Evolution & Sage 300 specifically, country-specific compliance requirements (e.g., Smart Invoicing or e-Invoicing) have in the recent past been delivered through either Business Partners (BPs), Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), or third-party solution providers. These solutions are generally arranged directly between the client and the BP.
Once e-invoicing capability via the Sage Network is extended to other regions, the product will then handle and integrate these compliance requirements natively.
For immediate compliance needs , clients should continue working with their BP/ISV partners to implement third-party solutions that meet the local requirements.
We continue to monitor regulatory developments and assess alignment opportunities as the Sage Network’s global rollout progresses. These will be communicated accordingly.
