The budget in the system should be a guide to making posting in the system, especially expenses. Thus, most of my clients want to cap the expenses based on the budget entered. So there should be a prompt when the actual posted become equal to the budget amount or when a transaction will exceed the remaining budget amount for the month.
What is the workaround for the problem today?
There is no work around currently. Users are able to exceed the budget provided in the Sage.
