As a Sage 200 Evolution user, I would like to be able to grant an agent access delete Quotations, however, the agent should not be able to delete unprocessed Sales Orders.
Currently, the access permission to delete Sales Orders apply to both Quotations and unprocessed SO. The two cannot be separated at the access permission level. The permission is under Sales Order Permissions in Order Entry.
Describe the shortfall of the current feature to meet the objective outline above:
Having to allow an agent permission to delete a sales order can cause errors whereby a sales order is deleted and there is no record of it other than connected documents/processes.
Describe why this enhancement is needed:
Quotations are just that; a quotation and should be able to be deleted at any point before being converted to a sales order.
